About METS Tutoring

Founded in 2023 by Moon and Elaine, METS Tutoring is dedicated to empowering students on their academic journeys. After years of working with third-party tutoring agencies, Moon and Elaine wanted to offer more value to students and parents while keeping costs affordable.

 

Moon began tutoring during his freshman year of college while studying electrical engineering, marking over a decade of experience. He specializes in high school math, physics, and SAT preparation. In the past year, Moon developed a comprehensive curriculum to help students master the new Digital SAT, resulting in score improvements for all who followed it.

Elaine started tutoring in her 10th grade chemistry class, despite not initially excelling in the subject. Determined to master it, she explored new study methods and improved her understanding over time. Now, as a 3rd-year medical student studying to become a physician, she brings that same drive and insight into tutoring high school biology and chemistry, showing students that overcoming challenges is possible with the right approach.
